The best moments - a photo album

Today I'm sharing something I wanted to make for a very, very long time - a photo album! Like ATC , they don't top my statistics, in my soon 4 years long scrapbooking history, I only made like 2 or 3 of these ;)

I've recently got a few plain accordion albums in different sizes and it really kicked me going with this project :)
The albums are produced by Papierowa Galanteria and are available in a variety of sizes and colours.
For this project I chosen the biggest one 15x21 cm , made of a heavy cream coloured cardstock .
I decorated the cover and the pages in mixed media style , using gesso, stencils, Twinkling H2Os and stamps. I also added washi tapes, stickers, journaling cards and pieces of paper. Each photo has a matting of kraft cardstock, also by Papierowa Galanteria which gives the photo a neat, solid, even base.
Supplies: Papierowa Galanteria, Prima, UHK Gallery, 7 Dots Studio

Well, enough talking, there is plenty of photos to be shown :)

Something unusual...

Hi there!
Today something unusual in this place - a small form!
Do you remember ever seeing an ATC here? ;) Probably not , it's been ages since I did one of these! I'm somehow stuck in the 30x30 space :)
Anyway, few weeks ago I have been asked for an ATC swap so I thought it will be fun to try a small form for a change.
This is what I came up with, TFL!

Prima BAP and PPP - Guest Designer

Hi there!
This is a special moment, definitely one of my most anticipated scrappy experiences - my guest design appearance at Prima!!!
Few days ago you could meet me in My Prima Place vol 11, where I got a page and one of my earlier works is published.
I have also prepared pages for Prima's April challenges, BAP and PPP. You will find the challenges here.

Without further ado, let's start with the BAP

I started by creating the stencil pattern in the bottom part of the paper. I used Floral stencil and gesso to create some round patterns, following the sketch. Then I added a bit of colour with watercolours to get more dimension. I finished off the background with some stamping and splatters of black ink. For the matting under the photos, I used pieces of papers from the Love Letter kit and Sunrise Sunset. I also added some round embellishments, corresponding to the round patterns in the lower part of the sketch.

Products: Lifetime - Guiltier, Item: 845483, IOD- 12” x 12” Love Letter Kit, Item: 813352, 6x6 Paper Pad - Sunrise Sunset, Item: 960087, Ingvild Bolme- Oval Frame Resins, Item: 892111, Junkyard Findings Typo Bulbs, Item: 891534, Tatiana - Victorian, Item: 566364, Lyric Clear Stamp 2, Item: 563219, Poppies and Peonies Collection - Donna Downey - Stencils Mask 6x6 – Floral

This is my take on the PPP

I wanted to create a subtle, dreamy layout to match this cute photo of my daughter and the soft colour palette. I’ve used gesso to prime the paper, then added generous small splashes of the watercolours in pink, mint green, and yellow. I also used a stencil (with gesso) to get this delicate, flowery white pattern.
I used stitch stamp to outline the main part of my layout. I layered a paper doily and some Prima papers under the photo. As you probably know, even the packages from Prima products can make a great addition to your project. Well, I’m saving them all!  :) Here I have used a yellow banner and a word ‘Dream’ cut out from the packaging of Prima flowers.

Yet another DT project, this page I created for Scrap Friends/kreative koncepts sketch which was revealed few days ago. I feel really humble when I see the spectacular projects from my fellow DT members and our guest, you just have to see it!

OUAS - April challenge

Hello Friends!
A new challenge is up at Once Upon a Sketch ! Need something to kick your creativity going this weekend? Well, you know where to go from here ;)

Journalling Theme: "An event that changed my life..."

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. It is for your inspiration and this theme word DOES NOT need to be part of your title or journalling. But please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes journalling (hidden journalling is fine). Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long. Remember, hidden journalling (under a photo/tag or behind your page) is perfectly fine but please DO let us know in your post where your journalling is!

The day when my daughter was born is the day of the biggest change in my life. On this photo I'm still expecting with excitement:) My journaling is on the back.
